Neil Bush: Politics shouldn’t interfere in the Olympics

These athletes have been training for years and they’re training in a sport that they’ve chosen to become the best at and to prove that they’re the best. They’ve got to go to an olympics to be able to do it and politics honestly shouldn’t interfere.

They can express as Americans our values and that’s fine. But hopefully they are not going to do something that keeps these athletes from all over the world from convening. So that the athletes can enjoy and once they’re there. You know athletics doesn’t know. You know political hardship really it shouldn’t and and you know that experience is going to help bring us to a better understanding and hopefully you know tear down. Some of these walls of our barriers of you know disagreement and and concern. Let’s put it that way from our side towards the Chinese.
