In Hong Kong today which has reported three new imported Covid-19 cases.

Hong Kong is closing its borders to visitors from eight Southern African countries. The ban applies to non-residents who have recently been to Botswana as Watini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Zimbabwe and South Africa fully vaccinated. Hong Kong residents are allowed to fly back. But must enter a mandatory 21 day quarantine. The discovery of the new variant comes as the government says hong kong has met requirements for resuming quarantine free travel with the Chinese Midland. The special administrative region is expected to launch a local health code system in December.
