EU to set up Office in Kabul to address humanitarian work

The European Union and the Taliban have held talks in Doha to discuss issues concerning the regional situation humanitarian aid and security.

The EU delegation says the bloc will continue to offer support for the Afghan people and it will establish an office in Kabul to handle humanitarian work. The Taliban says the humanitarian issue should be addressed separately from politics as is stressed to push forward relevant work through cooperation rather than pressure.
